About Celtic Driver Training
Originally trading in 2005 as Celtic Drivers.Com the company provided training courses for learner drivers. In 2007 Celtic Driver Training (CDT) was formed and now specialises in providing training programmes for fleet and corporate drivers throughout the UK mainland as a cost effective way of improving safety and reducing fleet costs.
Driving is probably one of the most dangerous things we do, yet we take it for granted and over time we become desensitised to the risk. My courses encourage proactive risk management by helping drivers recognise, understand and deal with risk. Advanced driving techniques are used to develop observational skills and awareness along with strategies to create the time and space to effectively manage danger and reduce risk.

My qualifications include:
- Ex Police Class 1 Advanced Driver
- The Diamond Special Advanced Driving Test
- RoSPA Advanced Driving Test at Gold
- Cardington Special Driving Test at Grade A
- The Institute of Advanced Motorists Advanced Driving Test
- Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor Grade 6 (highest grade and only held by top 7% of trainers)
- Driving Standards Agency Registered Fleet Driver Trainer
- Corporate Driver Training Qualification awarded by a leading accredited Driving Standards Agency Training Establishment in 2007
- RoSPA National Diploma in Advanced Driving Instruction awarded in 2008 with all parts of the qualifying examinations passed with distinction
- Institute of Advanced Motorists Registered Instructor.
You could be amongst the exclusive number of organisations I have worked with nationally. Not all training providers are the same. Given my background I have seen the aftermath of road traffic collisions and will work with you to help your staff reduce their on road risks. Please be aware I have limited availability due to the demand for my services. Not surprising given the value and quality of the training I offer.
